Welcome To Our Infant Program!
Our infant program maintains a safe, loving, and inviting environment with consistent care to provide a quality experience. We feel that infants develop best when given a balance of security from trusted adults and the freedom to explore and learn at their own rate. We have a classroom size of 12 infants with a minimum of 3 full-time teachers.
At LHCC we spend time holding, rocking and playing with the infants throughout the day. Each infant is treated as an individual and our caring teachers work with each family to implement a schedule that ensures the best day for each child. Individualized reports with information regarding feedings, naps, diaper changes and activities are given to families at the end of each day. Infants need uninterrupted time to observe and manipulate their surroundings. It is this continual sensory exploration that builds the foundation for all future learning. Activities are rotated throughout the day to provide a variety of learning experiences and fun!
