About Our Center

Linden Hills Child Care was started in 1984 as a privately owned home child care, located in the Linden Hill neighborhood of Southwest Minneapolis, with the commitment of providing quality care in a nurturing environment. It soon became clear that there was a larger community demand then the original space could support. Linden Hills Child Care moved into its current location, also in the Linden Hills neighborhood, which provided the space needed to expand. LHCC continually strives to provide a home-like atmosphere in a child care center setting.

Our Teachers

Linden Hills Child Care employs and retains teachers with a general love of children. All of our teachers have college degrees or a minimum of two years post-secondary education and experience specifically in early childhood education. Yearly training in health and safety, curriculum and child development is ongoing.

At LHCC we exceed the Minnesota Department of Human Services licensing requirements by ensuring that every teacher is CPR and First Aid certified

Our passionate teachers at LHCC are dedicated to working in partnership with families to ensure that each child's needs are met each and every day!
